Types of Hunting Licenses

Hawaii has a variety of hunting licenses to explore.

Eligibility Requirements

To obtain a Hawaii hunting license, you must:

  3. Have a Hawaii Hunter Education Card or Letter of Exemption (for out-of-state hunter education)

How to Apply

You can apply for a Hawaii hunting license in two ways:

Dates to Note

  • The new hunting season typically runs from July 1 to June 30 of the following year
  • Licenses and stamps for the upcoming season usually become available for purchase on June 15
